Resting ?

Before moving back to Hong Kong

From Florence I went back to my studio in Rome

restless

I decided to make a tiny stool

for me to rest a little

under the many motioned figures

painted on ceramic tiles

quite sometime ago

To move

is to rest

in order to make the moving action

a still point of profound reflection

To rest

is to move

in order to see beyond stillness

between moving and resting

a tiny space

sometimes

is being created

deep down

within

as if to say

there is no distinction between

moving or resting

what is left

is that

very second

of self awareness -

the breathing moment
